First opened in 1904 as “The Spencer Hotel,” this riverfront icon on Main Street has witnessed bustling river trade, local celebrations, and countless stories and tales.

It stands in the heart of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, a river town with a character all its own, known for its history, legends, and the visitors it draws each year – from the annual Mothman Festival to travelers tracing the stories across the Ohio Valley.

Now under new ownership, The Lowe Hotel is being restored and reimagined for its next chapter, while preserving the history and mystery that have always lived here.
